照明の情報発展基地を目指す都行燈では 機械場の一部を改装し、皆さんと一緒にワークショップや手作り教室を開催させていただいております。
荒川区の”モノづくり 見学・体験スポット”にも指定されおりますので、 木工や照明に興味のある方はぜひ一度 工房にお立ち寄りください。

あかりワークショップとは．．．
「ものづくり」が生活の中から消えかかっている今、自らの手で「もの」を作り上げる感動、そして「もの」を大切にする気持ちも忘れ去られようとしています。そんな今こそ、多くの人に「ものづくり」のよさを感じていただきたい－ 弊社のそんな想いから「手作り行燈」は誕生しました。
「あかりワークショップ」では、創業以来百十余年に渡り受け継いできた木工職人の技を活かした「手作り行燈」を、その日のうちに「自分だけのオリジナル行燈」としてお持ち帰りいただくことができます。
木枠などの下ごしらえ済みですので他の材料や道具などの持ち物も必要なく、プロの指導の下どなたにも手軽かつ安心してお作りいただくことができます。
和紙や木の持つ温かみと職人の伝統技を感じながら、オリジナリティーあふれる「手作り行燈」をぜひ創ってみてください。心癒される柔らかな光の中に、きっと「日本のあかり」の良さを感じることができるはずです。
Why not make original lighting?
At the municipal office aiming at the information development base of lighting, a part of the machine field has been refurbished and we are holding workshops and handmade classes with you. We are also designated as "Manufacturing tour / Experience spot" in Arakawa Ward, so if you are interested in woodworking or lighting, please stop by our workshop once.
